I always found Julie`s views on race hard to understand and excuse the pun but nothing was `black and white` with her.
Her Father was a out and out Nazi - you want proof? - well about 30 years ago because his sister married a black guy, he disowned her and Julie was never allowed to see her mixed-race cousins.
Tony Taylor was so racist he made Alf Garnett sound like a Liberal.
He hated blacks, jews, gays, muslims (not militant muslims) he HATED all muslims.
God only knows what he`ll make of the picture at the top of this chapter.
But Julie (as the picture proves) was not a racist like her father - had she been I would not have married her - as I cant stand any form of prejudice.
